The Funeral for four Sisters Ribic: Youngest Almasa was only 4 years old

funeralOn Sunday, the 17th of January 2016 will be conducted funeral ceremonies and burial of remains of sisters Zijada, Zlatija, Suada and Almasa Ribic at the cemetery in Skocic near Zvornik, after the Asr prayer, with the beginning at 2:15 p.m.

They were killed as civilians in the mass crimes committed on the 12th of July 1992 in this area, in the village Malesic, when a total of 27 civilians from Skocic was killed in an organized mass murder, according to NAP.

The remains of sisters Ribic were found in 2003 in a mass grave Crni Vrh, and they were identified in December 2015. Almasa was only four years old, Suada was five years old, Zijada seven years old and Zlatija was thirteen years old when they were killed. The fifth sister Ismeta, who was sixteen years old, is not identified yet. The only surviving member of the family is Zijad Ribic, who is 31 years old today.
