The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has adopted the proposal of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of FBiH, according to which wearing a mask outdoors and indoors is no longer an obligation but a recommendation.

In the next 14 days, it is recommended to wear protective masks indoors and with a distance of at least two meters in all health and social institutions and penitentiaries and other social protection institutions, as well as public transport.

It was also ordered that all gatherings take place in a space that allows a mandatory physical distance of at least two meters between persons and in compliance with hygienic and epidemiological measures, for which the organizers of the gathering are responsible.

At indoor gatherings of more than 300 people, in addition to the mask, all participants must have a negative antigen test, not older than 24 hours, or a PCR test, not older than 48 hours, a certificate that shows they recovered from COVID-19, not older than four months, or a certificate of completed vaccination, not older than four months after the second or 12 months after the third dose of vaccine.

When it comes to the provision of services in catering facilities indoors and outdoors, it was ordered to respect the distance of at least two meters between the tables.

In all stores, in accordance with the Ordinance on the classification of stores and other forms of retail trade, the number of customers is limited so as to define the space of 10 square meters of retail space per consumer.

All crisis headquarters of the cantonal ministries of health were ordered to introduce more restrictive measures based on the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the canton, ie the municipality, with regular notification of the Ministry of Health of FBiH Crisis Staff, and were recommended to introduce the VPT rule (vaccinated, recovered or tested) in accordance with the epidemiological situation, for the cantonal area and to report to the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of FBiH.
