The Public Relations Office of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has stated that media reports claiming the FBiH Government has “dismissed” Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović are incorrect. The Office emphasized that the decisions taken were purely procedural, aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of the Ministry.
During yesterday’s session, the FBiH Government acted solely to comply with judicial decisions regarding a temporary suspension and to ensure the full continuity of operations within the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
The Government has not dismissed Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mijatović; rather, it has adopted necessary procedural and technical decisions defining the authority to sign documents falling under the Ministry’s jurisdiction. This ensures that the current situation does not lead to any disruption in the Ministry’s work, the disbursement of incentives, or the exercise of rights by business owners and craftspeople in the Federation of BiH.
This is a prescribed procedure applied in such circumstances to ensure that the operations of the relevant ministry are never blocked.
“The Government of the Federation of BiH continues to operate at full capacity, while consistently respecting the independence of the judiciary, court rulings, and the presumption of innocence,” the statement from the FBiH Government’s Public Relations Office reads.
