’The Graduate’ at SARTR

diplomac_predstavaFrom 21-22 October at 20:00, SARTR will put on the play ‘The Graduate’. It is a play for graduate work by Sanjin Arnautović, and directed by Alen Muratović.

Benjamin Braddock is retuning home after four years of college, which is something trivial compared to what awaits him at home: grotesque parents, their friends, business partners who expect big things from him, a huge career, and he tries to escape the superficial thinking and empty life through comic situations.

At a moment when he is indecisive, uncertain and under pressure because he faces huge expectations, the main hero embarks on an affair, which they both know has nothing to do with love, but rather a need to belong to someone or something. The twist occurs when Benjamin falls in love.
