Exhibition: ‘Čovjek u pripremi’

covjek_u_pripremiAs part of the festival Photograph of the Year B&H 2013, photographer Amer Kapetanović will present his 16th independent exhibition of photographs called ‘Čovjek u pripremi’ (Man in Preparation)

Amer Kapetanović is from Sarajevo and is a photographer and videographer. He won the ULUPUBiH award for photography and is the winner of many local and international competitions. He participated in more than 150 group exhibitions.

Traveling around the world, he combines foreign and his own everyday life. He examines himself through people in his photographs and their relations with one another. The photographs that will be shown in this exhibition are from the streets of Istanbul, a city in which he became a photographer. This exhibition consists of 22 black and white photographs that depict everyday situations on the streets of a city that has millions of people.

The exhibition will be open in Gallery BlackBox on 31 January at 19:00.
