Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the first round of the Ice Hockey World Championship (Division III, Group B) in second place with 3 points and the second best goal difference.
The hockey team of Bosnia and Herzegovina opened the Division III B World Championship with a 3:0 victory over Iran.
The very beginning of the meeting started intensely. We waited a long time for the first goal, and it was scored by Dean Alen Filipović with an assist from Emir Viđen. At the same time, it was the result with which we went to the first break.
Denny Miškić and Nikko Gaković scored goals for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second period. Assists were recorded by Mirza Omer, Vasilije Vučinić and Miškić.
In the last third, the intense game continued, but the final score remained 3:0. The coaches chose Dino Alen Filipović and Danial Bagheri as the most useful players in both teams.
Our hockey players will face a new test this evening when they face Hong Kong, followed by duels with the Philippines (Monday), Singapore (Tuesday) and North Korea (Thursday).
Entry to all championship games is free of charge, and the first place team will go to division III A.
