The International Coffee Day was celebrated on Saturday on the plateau in front of Mepas Mall, and it gathered numerous residents of Mostar who enjoyed this magical drink while socializing.

The International Coffee Day is celebrated on October 1, and was officially celebrated for the first time in 2015 in Milan during EXPO 2015, organized by the International Coffee Organization (ICO).

Coffee is one of the most popular hot beverages, and coffee lovers around the world drink as many as 1.6 billion cups of it every day.

Coffee has a strong effect on the brain, improves metabolism in the body, increases the strength and work of the heart, improves blood flow in the heart, raises blood pressure, increases the amount of sugar in the blood and its consumption.

This drink is very popular in many countries of the world, including in BiH, where coffee is usually drunk slowly, that is, sipped, although experts believe that coffee releases much more of its aroma when drunk in large sips.
