From August 1 to 7, Goražde will host the 27th International Festival of Friendship, which will again this year offer a variety of content for all generations.
The director of the JU Center for Culture, which is the organizer of this event, Jasmin Bešlija confirmed that the final program, which is full of numerous events, has been adopted.
“This year, we tried to offer our citizens and numerous guests a rich program in which everyone will be able to find something for themselves, and we are sure that it will be daily 24-hour entertainment for everyone, and the official part of the festival will be met by numerous pre-festival contents such as the international veterans’ handball tournament, the Goražde 5K international friendship race, and there is also a DJ party at the Gubavica picnic area, so Goražde will be a place of great fun,” said Bešlija.
He noted that the festival events will be realized throughout the city, while the central stage on the plateau of the City Hall will be the site of numerous concerts.
“We will have pop and rock evenings, concerts of folk music, sevdah and folklore. Extremely important segments of the festival are also theater performances, promotions and a book fair, the international art colony “Colors of Friendship”, numerous workshops for children and young people as well as other contents, and every night after the program on the central stage in the summer cinema we will have an after party,” said Bešlija.
The musical part of the program on the central stage will begin with the Gorazdan marathon on July 31 with the participation of local performers, where the stars of the evening will be Laka and Lela, and in the period from August 1 to 7, Džejla Ramović, Tribute to Čola band, Al Dino, Divlje jagode, Galija, Negativ, Konvoj, Urban Instict, Sassja, Marchelo, Haris Džinović and Željko Samardžić.
“In Goražde, we expect a large number of visitors to all the festival contents and we are sure that everyone will have a great time at this unique event,” said Bešlija, Fena news agency writes.
