The Iranian President threatened Israel with severe Punishment

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said on Wednesday that Israel must stop “its crimes” or face a severe reaction.

Pezeshkian spoke a day after Iran fired nearly two hundred rockets at Israel and after the country went a step further in its conflict with Hezbollah by sending ground troops across the border with Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced revenge for the Iranian attack.

“If the Zionist regime does not stop its crimes, it will face more severe reactions,” Pezeshkian said on the eve of a previously scheduled trip to Qatar, according to state media.

Pezeshkian, the president since the beginning of the year, considered more moderate than his predecessor, said on state television that the main goal of his trip to Doha was to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and sign agreements with the Qatari government. There, he will also participate in the meeting at the top of the Dialogue on Asian Cooperation.

“The second goal is to discuss how Asian countries can prevent Israeli crimes in the region and prevent enemies from starting chaos in the Middle East,” he said.
