OSCE Chairman-in-Office Cassis to visit Sarajevo

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Switzerland’s Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, will visit Sarajevo on 20 February, where he will meet with high-level officials and discuss the current political context, upcoming elections and reform priorities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During his visit, Chairman-in-Office Cassis will meet with members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to reaffirm the OSCE’s commitment to supporting the country’s reform path. He will also visit the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and meet with the Central Election Commission to discuss electoral integrity and the Organization’s support for democratic processes.

The reception of the Chairman of the OSCE and the delegation of the Swiss Confederation will be held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina at 2:55 p.m.

After the reception, a tête-à-tête meeting between Minister Konaković and Minister Cassis is planned, followed by a meeting of the delegations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.
