The Israeli Army Claims That In The Attack On Nasser Hospital It Targeted A “Hamas Camera”

The Israeli army claims that its attack on the hospital in the south of Gaza this week, in which at least 21 people were killed, including five journalists, was aimed at a camera that Hamas had set up in that area to monitor Israeli troops.

“Given that, the forces acted to destroy the camera,” the army said.

Israel routinely justifies its deadly attacks across the Gaza Strip by claiming that the targets are Hamas.

The attack on Nasser hospital on Monday was carried out using the so-called “double-tap” method, in which Israeli forces first bombed the facility, and then waited for rescuers and journalists to arrive at the scene before bombing it again.

Human rights organizations have accused the Israeli army of war crimes due to the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza, and a recent report shows that 83 percent of all those killed since the start of Israel’s war against the enclave were civilians.
