The wind farm has an installed capacity of 84 MW and consists of 20 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 4.2 MW.

The Prime Minister of Canton 10, Ivan Vukadin, held a meeting two days ago with representatives of the company VE Ivovik.

VE Ivovik director Wang Zhiqiang, Cao Qi, head of legal and commercial affairs, and the company’s lawyer Kemal Svrakic informed Vukadin about the activities completed so far to ensure the Ivovik wind farm starts operating as soon as possible.

Despite numerous challenges, including difficult terrain and rising material costs, the project has entered its final phase and will soon make a significant contribution to the country’s renewable energy supply. After obtaining the operational permit, the first turbines began producing electricity.

Trial operations are underway, marking a key step in the commissioning process of the wind farm.

During the trial phase, each turbine will undergo a gradual commissioning process with detailed performance evaluations to ensure the Ivovik wind farm is fully integrated into the national energy system.

Representatives of VE Ivovik thanked Vukadin and the government for their excellent cooperation so far.

Vukadin stated that every project aimed at contributing to the development of the canton has the government’s support.

“Up until now, we have always been available to all investors for any project. Every investment is welcome, especially when it involves one of the largest projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the field of renewable energy,” emphasized Vukadin.

The Ivovik wind farm has an installed capacity of 84 MW, consisting of 20 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 4.2 MW, and it will be the largest wind farm in BiH.
