The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, told Fena news agency that he signed a letter today requesting that the former Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska entity, Radovan Višković, return his diplomatic passport.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a letter requesting that Višković return his diplomatic passport within 15 days.

If he fails to meet this deadline, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inform the BiH Border Police and the diplomatic and consular network that his passport has been cancelled and that he will not be able to cross the state border with it.

Višković remains without a diplomatic passport after the National Assembly of Republika Srpska dismissed him from his duties as entity Prime Minister.

State and entity officials have the right to a diplomatic passport, and they are also issued to well-known public figures, businessmen, and athletes. There is currently no public registry of diplomatic passport users in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
