The Most Massive March of BH Mountaineers to “Visoke Tatre“

Visoke Tatre mountainThe most massive march of mountaineers from B&H to Visoke Tatre in Slovakia is organized by the Mountaineering Association of Canton Sarajevo from 5th to 11th June.

92 mountaineers from several BH cities will spend 6 days at Visoke Tatre, during which, climbs on one of the most popular mountain peaks Krivan at 2.494 meters above the sea level, climb to Prednje Solisko (2.117 meters above the sea level) and a trip to the waterfall on Veliki studeni potok, will be organized.

Mountaineers will had an opportunity on Tatre to drive with a mountain train on cable and through rails to Hrebienok at 1.285 meters above the seal level. Also, a climb to Zbojnicka cata (1.960 meters above he sea level) is planned.

Slovacki Rysy (2.498 meters above the sea level) and Poljski Rysy (2.503 meters above the sea level) are also provided for the climb of BH mountaineers, and tour of two lakes in the valley of Zablje Pleso.

For the penultimate day of stay, a climb to Tatranske Lomnice at which is Lomnicko village at 2.300 meters above the sea level, and mountaineers can climb with a cable car to Lomnicki stit, which is the third highest peak on Visoke Tatre with 2.633.8 meters above the sea level.

The last day of the stay at Tatre, BH mountaineers will spend in Poland  in the city of Zakopane on 10th June, and will have a long-hour tour of Budapest on the road to Sarajevo on 1th June.

Mountain guides from Sarajevo are Selver Ajrulahi and Tarik Grabus.
