The Association of doctors for nephrology, dialysis and kidney transplantation of BiH pays great attention to the education of nephrologists and transplantologists from all healthcare institutions of BiH besides their main activities.

The Nefrological School is one of the educational programs that has been organized twice a year for many years.

The 13th Nefrological School will be held from October 5 to 7, 2018.

Respected lecturers from BiH and Croatia will give lectures at this educational gathering. The aim of this school is to discuss current topics from the field of nephrology, dialysis and kidney transplantation, with special emphasis on comorbid conditions that are associated with chronic renal disease.

President of the Association, Prof. Dr. Halima Resic, noted that the school was designed as an interactive gathering and that there will be case reports as well as professional presentations.

“Nephrology school is aimed at overcoming the gap between increasing data and chronic lack of time for nephrologists to keep track of it. The lecturers will be experts from BiH and Croatia, as well as young nephrologists from BiH. I hope that this nephrological school will be remembered as an important event and a place for socializing and exchange of experiences,” said Prof. Dr. Resic.
