Peace Building Week in B&H from 15th to 22nd September

Mreža-za-izgradnju-miraThe Network for Peace-building even this year marks peace-building week from 15th to 22nd September with many activities in nearly 30 cities across the country: Banja Luka, Bihać, Bratunac, Brčko, Bugojno, Derventa, Doboj, East Doboj …

Apart from the main celebration to mark the International Day of Peace on 21st September in front of BBI Center in Sarajevo, there will be exhibitions, theatrical performances, lectures and public forums and gatherings of young people, sports events and many other activities.

The opening of peace week is associated with the action of the RECOM Race organized by the Association of Transitional Justice.

Official Week of Peace will open at midnight between the 15th and 16th September at the Gallery “E” the International Center for Peace. In the context of peace-building week, the initiative to proclaim 2014 will launch as the year of peace and non-violence in B&H. The symbolic slogan of Peace-building week 2013 is “Feel the power of peace”.
