Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today with the Head of the Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brian Aggeler. The officials discussed the cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OSCE and the current political situation in our country.
Konaković thanked the OSCE Mission for the help it provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past years in building and strengthening democratic institutions, and pointed out that the presence of the OSCE Mission in the field contributes to the political stability of BiH, which is a prerequisite for achieving economic progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He expressed his determination to continue good cooperation with this international organization.
Minister Konaković introduced the interlocutor to the current internal political situation in our country, with a focus on the activities of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers regarding the implementation of priority and key reforms in the process of joining the European Union.
Head of the OSCE Mission Aggeler emphasized the readiness of the Mission to continue providing support and assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily in terms of respect for human rights, the technical aspect of conducting elections, the rule of law, governance, building bridges between communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
