niksic_konjevicpoljeThe Prime Minister of the FB&H Nermin Nikšić discussed today with the Special Representative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for European Security and Cooperation (OSCE) in Vienna Andreas Nothelleom, with the Special Representative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly for SEE Robert Battelli and with the Chief of the OSCE Mission to B&H Fletcher M. Burton.

During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Federal government in Sarajevo, OSCE representatives pointed out the extreme importance of B&H’s stability for the entire region. Despite the problems that B&H is facing, there is reasonable optimism for the future of B&H, stated members of the OSCE delegation.

The Prime Minister Nikšić introduced the guests with the situation in Federation and stressed the commitment of the Federal Government to ensure economic progress through the major existing and upcoming investment activities, such as the motorway on Corridor Vc, the construction of Vranduk, the seventh thermal power unit in Tuzla and the park in Podveležj.

The Federal prime minister touched upon the problem of Bosniak returnees, parents and children in Konjević -Polje. He underlined the full authority of the Office of High Representative in B&H to resolve this issue and thus to allow the application of international conventions and B&H regulations related to the protection of human rights.

“Requirements of parents and children from Konjević – Polje are completely acceptable and solvable: improving sanitary and hygienic conditions in the school building, introduction of a national group of subjects and adequate representation of the School Board”, stated Nikšić.
