The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced it will pay 331 million euros (360 million dollars) in total prize money at the 17th edition of the European Football Championship

“The amount to be distributed to the participating teams has been confirmed at the same level as for UEFA EURO 2020, i.e. a total of 331 million euros,” the UEFA press release states.

The governing body of European football noted that the Executive Committee in Hamburg approved the system of distribution of monetary prizes for national teams participating in EURO 2024.

It is added that the winner of the title could receive a maximum of 28.25 million euros if the national team wins all three games in the group stage.

“The European Champions in 2024 will receive an additional payment of around 8 million euros,” announced UEFA.

UEFA also stated that each of the 24 teams will receive a minimum of 9.25 million euros for their participation in the one-month tournament.

51 matches at EURO 2024 will be played in ten stadiums in Germany from June 14th to July 14th, 2024.
