The Project “Safe Environment for Children” is Completed Successfully

genesisThe project “Safe environment for children in divided schools of Central-Bosnia canton- Maintaining changes” implemented by Genesis Project from Banja Luka has been successfully completed.

267 workshops for teachers, 259 workshops for students, 140 educative puppet shows and 5 educational seminars for teachers have been organized in municipalities covered by the project.

9.500 pupils of primary schools, 360 teachers of 16 schools, which operate on the principle “Two schools under one roof” are included in the project. Representatives of both schools participated in all organized activities.

This project was financed by the German Foundation Stiftung Schüler Helfen Leben, UNICEF B&H and the US Embassy in B&H. The aim of this project was to create a safe environment for children in divided schools of Central-Bosnia Canton.

According to the Executive Director of Genesis Project, Dijana Pejić, since 2009, when the implementation of the project started until now, there has been progress in cooperation and communication in divided schools of Central-Bosnia Canton, which was the goal.
