The regional conference entitled ” Comprehensive approach to solving issues of children and youth protection on the Internet” was organized in Sarajevo. This interesting conference was organized with the aim of raising awareness of the public and state institutions in the case of this particular issue. Because of this, they stress the importance of strengthening the collaboration of institutions and organizations in the field of the fight against abuse and exploitation of children and youth via information or communication technology.

The manager of the conference, Amela Efendić, reminded about the existence of a web site www.sigurnodijete.com, which basically functions as a medium where all people can submit proofs of inappropriate content on the Internet.

On the 20th of November, Bosnia and Herzegovina has become the member of the International Association of internet SOS lines ”Inhope”. Due to this, the possibilities of preventing these kinds of abuse in B&H have been improved.
