According to the latest information, the richest businessman in BiH and the 7th on the list from the former Yugoslavia is Drago Malinovic, owner of Komerc-mali in Prnjavor. The company Komerc-mali was founded in 1993 as a limited liability company (Ltd.) based in Prnjavor. The activity of the company was wholesale and retail of construction materials. Since 1999, the main business of the company Komerc-mali Ltd. is wholesale of construction materials with the largest share of ferrous metallurgy in construction.
The 2nd richest businessman in BiH, according to a local edition of Forbes, is Hamed Ramic, the owner of the Sarajevo company Euro-Asfalt, which is carrying out construction works on Corridor 5S, and it is also participating in international projects.
Behind these two is Petar Corluka, the owner of Violeta company which is based in Grude. Two years ago, the company had total revenue of 194.8 million BAM and net profit of 28.2 million BAM. Violeta is a regional leader in the production of hygiene products with factories in BiH and Croatia, and it employs about 800 people.
On the 10th place of the regional list, and in 4th place in BiH is Veljko Djukic, the owner of Super-Petrol from Banja Luka.
These Forbes data are significantly different from the data from previous years.
In fact, last year in BiH, the biggest businessman was Izudin Ahmetlic, owner of Hifa group, which operates in the oil sector with income of 330.5 million EUR. The second was Senad Dzambic, the owner of retail chain Bingo. There were also Tomislav Antunovic, owner of AGS from Orasje, Svetlana Stanic from Stanic group, Pero Gudelj from FIS Vitez and Stjepan Vranjes from Grafotisak.
Regional list
When it comes to the regional list, at the top is the owner of Agrokor – Ivica Todoric, whose fortune exceeds 1 billion BAM. The next three places are also taken by individuals from Croatia. In the second place is businessman Emil Tedeschi, founder and owner of Atlantic Group, followed by the President of the Adris Group Ante Vlahovic and the owner of Orbico, Branko Roglic.
