The same Person sent Bomb Reports to two Addresses in Sarajevo

In addition to a few more cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), but also different locations in Sarajevo, reports of bombs arrived yesterday at the addresses of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH(FBiH).

It was established that the bomb reports in both judicial institutions in Sarajevo were false, and investigations are ongoing.

A spokesman for the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Ministry of the Interior, Mirza Hadziabdic, stated that the officials were continuing to work on identifying and finding the person who made this false report and thus committed the crime of “causing general danger”.

It was done, he confirms, by one person.

“Yes, one person sent a report for both addresses. One person, one phone call, and on that occasion it was said that bombs were planted in both institutions,” Hadziabdic explained.

To recall, the report on the planted bomb soon reached the address of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH. Hadziabdic could not confirm certain allegations that the report arrived in writing and was in Russian.

“When it comes to bomb reports in the CEC, these activities are carried out by state police agencies – the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies and the Investigation and Protection Agency in cooperation with the CS Police Administration, whose officers only secure a place and provide assistance in activities,” Hadziabdic mentioned.

Given that intensive activities of police officers are underway, the spokesman of the CS Ministry of the Internal Affairs was not able to provide additional information regarding who could be responsible for the frequent reports, Radio Sarajevo writes.
