The State of Missouri got its Bosnian Day

state of MissouriAfter more than 22 years since the beginning of the organized settlement of St Louis and State of Missouri as a result of the aggression on our country, this Federal US State got its Bosnian Day.

By this decision, State of Missouri joined to several other states that already have their Bosnian Day.

Chairman of the House Representatives of the State of Missouri, John J. Diehl Jr., formalized the decision by which 15th April is being declared as the Bosnian Day in the State of Missouri.

On that occasion, he welcomed the BH  delegation that attended to the award ceremony and also students of local high school Affton who attend the Bosnian-American studies.

During the day, delegation of the BH community had a chance to meet with the political leaders of the State of Missouri as well as with Heads of various state agencies.

During the talk with the deputy State Governor, importance of the BH community not only for St Louis but also for the entire State of Missouri, has been emphasized.
