12696065_1729061873997156_646754069_nAt today’s hearing, the State Prosecution requested extension of custody for the first accused Fahrudin Radoncic due to objective circumstances that he could repeat the criminal offense for which he is charged or interfere with the work of judiciary by influencing witnesses.

The Prosecution believes that after the indictment, Radoncic has even greater motive to influence the witnesses and thus interfere with the work of the judiciary. Prosecutor Mihajlovic emphasized that the Prosecution has evidence that the accused Radoncic already tried to influence potential witnesses related to the investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H that is conducted against Radoncic in the case of the murder of Ramiz Delalic. The evidences were collected by eavesdropping on conversations Bakir Dautbasic and Almir Basic and they showed an attempt to influence on the testimony of people who are now in prison in Zenica. In his address to court, Radoncic stated that he is “glad that the Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation against him.”

For Bakir Dautbasic and Bilsena Sahman, the Prosecution proposed prohibiting measures that include prohibition of leaving the territory of B&H, contacts with witnesses and regular reporting to the relevant police station.

They are allowed to continue living at a joint address since they are spouses.

Radoncic’s lawyer Asim Crnalic said that the State Prosecution based indictment on spoken words without sufficient evidence.

Crnalic considered disputable the fact that Bakir Izetbegovic was not invited as a witness, because his testimony clearly shows that Nermana Hadzijahic was appointed in accordance with the law. Crnalic said that Izetbegovic is “one of the main characters” and that his testimony shows that Radoncic cannot be incriminated for appointment of Hadzijahic.

With the indictment the State Prosecution submitted 160 evidence, while the indictment itself is written on more than 60 pages.
