The Supervisory Board of the company “Ginex” has fulfilled the demands of the company’s workers who have suspended production again since yesterday.

However, the workers did not accept the Decision of the Supervisory Board to increase salaries by 20 percent, and an additional 400 BAM, in a way that the net hourly wage would be increased to 6.15 BAM with a reduction in the coefficients of the complexity of the job and the allocation of 400 BAM under the Regulation on the payment of assistance to workers by the employer.

As Fena news agency has learned, after today’s meeting of the company’s Management Board and the Supervisory Board in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, an analysis of the company’s ability to implement the Management Board’s proposal to increase salaries for six months by the hourly wage module of 6.15 while maintaining the coefficients of the complexity of the jobs was again conducted.

This decision was confirmed by the Supervisory Board, with the Company’s Management Board charged with monitoring the effects of this decision on the Company’s operations on a monthly basis and regularly reporting to the Supervisory Board, the relevant ministry, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić.

Ginex workers are still within the company and are waiting for the decision to be officially communicated to them.
