business dealThe President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) Ismet Pašalić met yesterday with the consultant Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation KEK-CDC Matthias Boss and spoke with him on establishing mutual cooperation.

One of the topics was the development of a concept for a new project in the area of environmental protection and good governance at the municipal level, as a kind of continuation of the project in municipal water and environment “GOV-WADE”, which for years has been carried out in municipalities of the Una River Basin. The Swiss Embassy to BiH in selected municipalities implements the project.

Even though it is still currently under construction, it is basically based on the ideas and strategies of plans of municipalities and chambers of commerce that are chosen for its realization.

The main goal is support in the strategic planning and good governance in order to create a better business environment. Boss will report to Pašalić on the further development of the project and its carriers, who expressed willingness of the Chamber of Commerce to participate in the project.
