In the presence of family members, friends, colleagues and government representatives, the third anniversary of the murder of Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic was marked.

As part of the anniversary program, the anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina was sung, and flowers were laid at the memorial to Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic at the murder scene in Geteova Street at number 1.

Canton Sarajevo Minister of the Interior Admir Katica said that the CS Ministry of the Interior was working on a daily basis to shed light on this case.

“There is no institution more dedicated to this case than the CS Ministry of the Interior. We are constantly working on this case, we are going proactively towards the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office with taking action. I hope and I am convinced that the cantonal prosecutor’s office of KS and the MIA of CS will come up with this task and that the murderers of our colleagues will be brought to justice “, said Katica. He added that since he has been in the position of minister, he insists on working on this case.

On October 26th 2018, two Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) police officers were killed during the prevention of car robbery.

At 4 a.m. on Friday in BiH’s capital Sarajevo, during stealing of motor vehicle, thieves fired several times at two policemen, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (MUPKS) confirmed to local media.

Thieves tried to steal white car of Golf 6 brand with Croatian registration plates, after which policemen arrived and the shooting started, after which perpetrators escaped, MIACS stated.

Suvada Kuldija, a spokesperson for the MIACS confirmed to local media earlier that one police officer was killed, and another was seriously injured, but after he was transferred to the local hospital, he passed away due to severe head injury.

Later on, a report was filed against Milos Obradov, detained in KPZ Zenica, suspected of having participated with Srecko Trifkovic in the murder of police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic.

The investigation into this case continues, and the perpetrators are not even known three years after the killings.
