In February 2024, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) achieved exports worth 907,123,000 BAM, which is 13.5 percent more compared to January of this year or 7.7 percent less compared to February 2023.
In February of this year, imports in the value of 1,672,143,000 BAM were realized, which is 19.4 percent more compared to January 2024, or 8.7 percent more compared to February 2023.
The percentage of coverage of imports by exports in February was 54.2 percent, which is 2.8 percent less than in January when the coverage was 57.0 percent.
The trade deficit of the FBiH for February 2024 was 765,020,000 BAM, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
In February, FBiH exported the most to Germany, Croatia, and Austria, and imported the most from Germany, Italy, and China, Akta reports.
