The multi-year trend of business success for the Public Enterprise Sarajevo International Airport has continued in 2015; in the first six months of the current year positive business results are already being recorded.
In the first half of 2015, 351.943 passengers passed through Sarajevo International Airport, which is 10 percent more than in 2014. The increase was also realized in the number of processed commercial cargo with as much as 1.892.512, which is 63 percent more than last year.
‘’Besides the extremely good results in the past period, it is my pleasure to note that we have enriched the content of the Sarajevo airport. Upon request of our many users, a room for prayer, adapted to the needs of all confessions, has been opened. We have also renovated the existing VIP lounge for passengers who arrive in B&H. In the coming period we will finalize the negotiations with new airlines, and starting from autumn we are expecting the opening of new air lines from Sarajevo to other European cities’’, emphasized the director of the Sarajevo International Airport Ivan Veličan.
Thanks to the involvement of the administration and the entire collective, the PE Sarajevo International Airport will continue the trend of successful business in the following period as well.
