The Trial of the Doctors accused of the Death of the Girl Dzena Gadjun begins

In the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, the trial of Suad Rožajec, Jasmina Halimić-Alajbegović and Nina Jovanović, doctors accused of concealing the death of two-and-a-half-year-old Džena Gadžun from Kakanj, begins today.

Anesthesiologist Rožajac is charged with a serious criminal offense against human health and the criminal offense of negligent treatment, while ophthalmologists Jovanović and Halimić-Alajbegović are charged with the criminal offense of abuse of position or authority.

All three recently pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them before the Cantonal Court.
