In the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo today, the start of the trial in the case of Senaid Memic and others, whose actors are accused of abuse of position or authority, was postponed again.

Today’s hearing was canceled at the request of two defenders, due to the health condition of the defendant.

As Feni from KSS confirmed, the next hearing in this case is scheduled for March 4.

The indictment of Senaid Memić, the former municipal head of Ilidža, and his associates, municipal employees, accuses them of abuse of position, that is favoring the construction investors of the housing and business facility ‘Panamera’ and ‘Malak Group’.

In addition to Memić, Ljiljana Eterović, expert advisor for legal affairs in the Spatial Planning Service, Adnan Ćenanović and Azra Mulaosmanović, expert associates for urban planning, and construction municipal inspectors Amir Arnautović and Sanja Čizmedžić, are also accused.

At the same time, the defendants are accused of having enabled the illegal construction and use of a parking space in the area of the Željeznica river to the owner of the Bistro ‘Brajlović’ restaurant in Ilidža.
