The United States (U.S.) Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) announced that members of the U.S. military conducted a five-day exercise with members of the SIPA Support Unit.
The aim of the exercise was to train members of the police units of BiH to carry out complex arrests.
“With the help of the partners from the U.S. Special Operations, SIPA officers participated in a number of complex scenarios in and around Sarajevo, from counter-terrorist situations to helicopter operations,” it was mentioned.
They point out that the exercise is another example of partnership and cooperation between the U.S. and BiH, and that it demonstrates the long-term support of the U.S. in strengthening security in BiH.
