The Embassy of the United Kingdom (UK) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) commented yesterday in an interview on the letter of the leader of HDZ BiH Dragan Covic to international officials after the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH announced the holding of the General Elections in October.
According to the UK Embassy, they seriously take the attempts to destabilize or endanger BiH, Klix.ba writes.
”We remind every political actor who considers or threatens unilateral moves contrary to the legal and constitutional order of this country that this is a path that will only lead to increased isolation, and that such action is contrary to the interests of the citizens of this country. As the UK has recently shown through the use of sanctions, we take seriously attempts to destabilize or threaten BiH,” they said from the UK embassy.
To recall, Covic said in a letter to international officials yesterday that the Croatian National Assembly (HNS BiH) will start implementing all the conclusions from the Extraordinary Session of the HNS in BiH on February 19th, 2022.
”And we will initiate all legal procedures and political steps for the new institutional and territorial organization of BiH on the principles of federalism and consociational democracy, which will ensure full constitutional equality of the Croatian constituent people in BiH,” Covic wrote in a letter to a number of international community officials.
