On March 8, the United States of America and Great Britain warned their citizens that a terrorist attack could soon occur in Russia and urged them to avoid gatherings in the period that follows.

The American and British embassies were expecting a terrorist attack in Russia on March 8 and 9, and it happened two weeks later.

The embassies then told their citizens to avoid crowds and large gatherings, which include concerts.

In yesterday night’s terrorist attack in Moscow, at least 40 people were killed and 100 were wounded, many of whom are in critical condition. The mass shooting happened right at the concert, as the Americans had previously warned, i.e. right before the concert began.

After the shooting, the attackers also threw explosives, so a large part of the concert hall was on fire. As a result of the fire, many were stuck on certain floors, and emergency services rescued people from the roofs as well.
