The victims of the genocide in Srebrenica were honored in Mostar with a traditional jump from the Old Bridge without applause on Thursday.

Emel Tiro’s jump without applause at 11 hours and 7 minutes from the Old Bridge in Neretva symbolically honored the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

As in previous years, the jump without applause is organized by the diving club “Mostari”.

The people of Mostar started jumping from the Old Bridge as a sign of reverence for the victims immediately after the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995.

In Potočari today, the 29th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the “UN Safe Zone” of Srebrenica is being celebrated, and the remains of 14 victims will be buried. The Day of Mourning was declared in FBiH.
