The fire in the Sutjeska National Park has been brought under control, and two helicopters of the Helicopter Service of the RS and two helicopters of the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia are moving to extinguish the fire around Bileća.
As Boban Kusturić, director of the RS Helicopter Service, said, helicopter units and firefighters will be on the ground until late at night.
The damage on Zelengora has already reached multi-million figures, and the consequences for endemic species and biodiversity will be known only after the fire is completely contained.
