The wish of ten-year-old Melvin Sehic and his family from the Ponikve settlement to have a cow was fulfilled, thanks to the good man Nihad Melkic – Melka.

The story of this brave boy suffering from diabetes type 1 was published by Radio Velika Kladusa on September 22, and at that time he and his sister Sunita wanted only a cow and asked good people to help them fulfill their wish.

An action to help this family was initiated by the Association of Diabetics of the Municipality of Velika Kladusa. In addition to Melkic, other good people also took part in the action, so this family was provided with wood for the winter, food and some clothing and footwear, and was paid for school meals, and a certain amount of nutrition was purchased for the cow.

According to Dekic, it is necessary to build a smaller barn because the existing one is not conditional, and it is necessary to provide certain means for Melvin’s diet, which, given his illness, must be healthy and proper.

The humanitarian action for help to Sehic family continues because no one is employed in the family and they are not able to provide it themselves.

Melvin and Sunita walk to school, Melvin walks 4 km one way, and Sunita goes by bus to the elementary school “25. November ”, but has to walk 2 km to the station. In addition to Melvin and Sunita, the Sehic family has another child, two-year-old Leila
