On Saturday in ”Zetra” there was a press conference by BiH Cycling Federation attended by numerous cyclists, club representative and French Ambassador in BiH Roland Gilles with his wife Claudia Carceroni.
They noted that cycling is developing in BiH, and that in next two year Gilles will offer his personal asistance, moral and financially will help the realization of races. Claudia Carceroni was sixteen times the world cycling champion.
After the press conference, the most successful cyclists of the last year received awards.
President of BiH Cycling Federation Zlatko Berbić thanked the ambassador and his wife for their support.
Berbić said that the Cycling Federation is working on project to organise race Tour de BiH in mid-2013. The Cycling Federation is also planning to organise Grand Prix Sarajevo in 2014, where 25 countries will participate, and ”Tour De France” will offer its help, and during that event all former winners of ”Tour de France” will visit BiH in order to promote ”Grand Prix Sarajevo”
