Thomas Mesa of US Embassy Spoke with High School Students on Interpretation of History

thomas_mesaNansen Dialogue Center will organize on Tuesday, 26 November in Sarajevo a conference titled “Interpretation of history-challenges for B&H”.

The special guest of this conference is the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the USA Embassy in B&H, Thomas Mesa, who will address the students and professors of schools from Jajce, Srebrenica, Bratunac, Zvornik and Sarajevo.

Mesa already spoke to young people at the conference titled “Youth in B&H-challenges and opportunities” in March of this year.

During the discussion, they talked about the role of history in the reconciliation process and students expressed their interest in learning more about the interpretation of history in B&H.
