funeralThe funeral for the three miners who lost their lives in the accident at the mine Begici-Bistrani on Tuesday, was held in the afternoon hours in the Gradska Mosque in Kakanj.

The sky that was crying after miners from Kakanj since the early morning did not stop thousands of people to say “Good luck” for the last time to the miners who gave their lives while trying to ensure a normal life for their families.

“This is not a goodbye, we will be reunited again,” said the imam of the Gradska Mosque in Kakanj and asked everyone for forgiveness for all the miners.

Nusret ef. Avdibegovic, the representative of the Reis-ul-ulema Husejin ef. Kavazovic, led the funeral prayer, and before the funeral he addressed attendees with the words:

“Dear living miners, families and all of you who gathered here, the news of this tragedy has not only shaken us in B&H, but also the people from all around the world. The miners have a special solidarity because they have faith and respect for a better tomorrow. Sadness is infinite, and this flag has two faces: green and black. Green side represents the strength and energy, while the black side of miners’ flag represents sadness and uncertainties. Today we are worshiping the funeral for three miners, and tomorrow is the funeral for the fourth of them. They loved their families, they were responsible and the land took them for itself, while the soul belongs to God. Those who are leading the miners are responsible for their conditions, and in this case for their families.”
