For this year’s European Day of Jewish Culture, the Jewish municipality in Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Jewish cultural and humanitarian society ‘La Benevolencija’ will mark the three-day program on the premises of the Jewish municipality and in gallery ‘Novi Hram’.
In Jewish municipalities tomorrow, there will be a promotion of the book ‘Jewish Surnames in Archival Documents’, whose publisher is the Historical Archive of Sarajevo by author Milena Gašić and Eli Tauber.
On Sunday, 29 September in Gallery ‘Novi Hram’, the exhibition ‘Nature, Ecology, Four Elements’ by artist Kamenko Milenković from Serbia will open.
This year, due to the Jewish holidays that have been marked since the beginning of September, it was decided that this day would be celebrated throughout all of Europe on Sunday, 29 September. This year’s theme is ‘Ecology’.
