Three fans were stabbed on Friday evening in Mannheim, in the yard of the house where it was organized to watch the match between Germany and Scotland.

According to police information, the perpetrator was a “southern guy”.

According to “Magdeburger Folksstimme”, he allegedly threatened people with a knife in the gardens across the street. Locals immediately called the police.

When the attacker burst into the yard and started stabbing the fans, people screamed in panic and ran away.

What no one knew at the time was that before the random attack, the unknown man had already killed one man at another location.

When the policemen arrived after a few minutes, the killer walked towards them and then attacked the policemen.

“Firearms were used,” a police spokeswoman told BILD on Saturday morning.

The perpetrator died in hospital.

This shocking incident is not alone in a series of similar events that have upset the public, including the recent knife attack in Mannheim, which resulted in serious injuries to a police officer.
