By throwing roses into the Buna river and lighting candles, today marked the 32nd anniversary of the martyrdom of 29 persons of Serbian nationality, in the town of Buna, near Mostar.

Family members of the dead and missing Serbs gathered to pay their respects to their loved ones, many of whom are still missing. To date, no one has been held accountable for this crime.

On this day in 1992, the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in Mostar was also set on fire, the restoration of which is still ongoing.

The commemoration continued in Nevesinje, where at 11:30 a.m. there was a laying of flowers on the Freedom Monument and a tour of the Memorial Room, and flowers were also laid on the Memorial Ossuary in Nevesinje.
