At the border crossing Maljevac near Velika Kladusa two hours after midnight, a triage tent was caught by fire, after which the fire spread to two more tents, Una Sana Canton Ministry of Interior spokesman Ale Siljdedic confirmed for Klix.ba.

The fire was extinguished and the burning tents, although not completely burned, were damaged and are no longer in use.

“At seven o’clock this morning, it was reported that a fire broke out in one of the tents at two after midnight and spread to two more tents and a total of three were damaged,” said Siljdedic.

A video posted on Facebook shows the tent burning, and as firefighters arriving. No one was injured. Police are investigating and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. It is investigated whether there are elements of the crime, or whether the fire was intentionally set.
