The Bosniak Cultural Community in Houston announced that the Hurricane Harvey flooded many homes and mosques in that city.

According to posted photographs, the water almost reached the roof of the mosque and the access to it is impossible. The planned Eid prayer was also canceled, and imam of the mosque and his family were temporarily evacuated to a safe place.

They appealed to BH community to show how strong they are as a community and to help everyone who needs help and they posted a link for donations for that purpose on their website.

Hurricane Harvey took at least 30 lives in the past few days.

Although it is getting weaker, according to the latest information, the citizens of Houston will need months to recover from the terrible consequences of a deadly tropical storm.
