Today is a Day of Mourning in the FBiH

bosnian flagThe 20th July 2014 is marked as a day of mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to commemorate the victims of the Prijedor municipality.

 

On that day, a collective funeral and burial of 284 killed citizens of Prijedor will be conducted, whose remains were exhumed primarily from Tomašica mass grave.

 

The Day of Mourning is marked with the mandatory display of flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast, at the government buildings and the institution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

On the Day of Mourning programs of entertainment character cannot be held at public places in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

Media houses in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are obliged to adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning – was announced the Public Relations Office of the Government of FBiH.
