As announced after the session, the Day of Mourning was declared “because of the tragic events in Kosovo and Metohija”.

“Flags at institutions will be lowered to half-mast, and television and radio content, as well as all sports and entertainment events planned for that day, will be adapted to the Day of Mourning,” the announcement states.

Earlier today, the Government of Serbia, at an extraordinary session, declared September 27 as the Day of Mourning in connection with the tragic events in Kosovo.
