Dan_djeceThe world is marking today the International Day of Children, which has been celebrated since November 1989 when the Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted. This is the foundation for a better life for children and is the most widely accepted human rights document in the world.

The Convention identifies, among other things, the right to life, protection from harmful influences, abuse and exploitation. It has become a universally accepted measure of global responsibilities towards children and an effective means of improving the conditions and circumstances favorable to the promotion of life and child development.

In B&H, this day is marked through free dance workshops for children in the Musical Center Pavarotti in Mostar, which was held last night under the organization of the Dance Studio Flash. In Tuzla, the Association ‘Land of Children’ will organize today a street action on the city promenade Korzo from 11:30 to 13:00.
