Assistant of the Minister for Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Amer Kapetanovic, met with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Federal Republic of Germany led by the Head of Section for EU Enlargement, South East Europe and Turkey, Helge Tolksdorf.
The topic of the meeting was Berlin process and the results of the agenda of the infrastructure and political connecting of the Western Balkans countries.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany in the previous period was organized several meetings of German businessmen with businessmen from the region aimed at business connectivity and implementation of joint projects.
The event was attended by 96 companies from the Western Balkan countries, of which 19 companies from BiH and 23 German companies from similar producing sectors of mechanical engineering, metal processing, production of components for the automotive industry, as well as processing of plastics and rubber.
Tolksdorf emphasized that BH companies proved to be very reliable partners to German companies, and that increased interest in business cooperation with BH companies can be expected as the result .
Germany and BiH will soon take concrete actions on finding modalities to make cooperation of BiH and German companies as well as joint investment plans and placement on third markets even more efficient, as announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
